Clarion Hotel Tyholmen, Arendal
Clarion Hotel Tyholmen is located along the waterfront in the old part of Arendal with a magnificent view of the sea, Galtesund, Hisøy and Tromøy. Tyholmen is a well-known name old wooden house area, and was rewarded the EUROPE NOSTRA prize in 1992 for the best kept wooden houses.
The original part of the hotel is built in the old wooden house style. In 2007 it got a new, modern building fitting the general area. The new building contains hotel rooms, a large conference room and a mingling area. The hotel is a full-service hotel with the restaurant Tre Seil and the bar Åtte Glass.
